"I fell in love with Pilates when I discovered the exercise method as a young ballet dancer. I appreciated how Pilates helped me rehabilitate my injuries as well as keep me strong and in shape for dancing. After a dance injury sidelined my performing, I transitioned into a full-time Pilates teacher, and I completed my comprehensive certification in 2001. In February of 2005, I opened my first studio in Wichita, Kansas -Wichita Pilates Group LLC- which I owned and operated until my move to Colorado in 2021. Now, I reside in Mead, Colorado with my husband, Charles, and my two four-legged children, Edward and Franklin.

Pilates has been a rewarding career for me. Not only do I love to empower my students with the tools they need to achieve greater health and wellbeing, to do that requires pursuing another passion of mine: education. Being a student is as much a joy for me as teaching, and my movement education has taken me all over the U.S. and Canada. One of the many benefits of the Pilates Method that initially impressed me was its emphasis on meeting the individual where they are.
